Quesada is a small town located near the salt lakes in Torrevieja. Ciudad Quesada is located south of the municipality of Rojales and is located only 5 km to beautiful beaches in Guardamar. The small town has a great selection of bars, restaurants, supermarkets etc. The northern part of Ciudad Quesada is built around an 18-hole golf course called La Marquesa (The Marquise). Quesada is situated only 12km to the well established town of Torrevieja. Torrevieja was originally a salt-mining and fishing village as it is located between the sea and two large salt lakes (Las Salinas), which give Torrevieja a healthy micro climate.
