MARCH 2016 - EASTER NEWS FROM CHERSUN
Wishing You A Happy Easter
We wish you and your family a happy Easter and it has been another busy month at Chersun. We are looking forward to enjoying the Easter celebrations that take place throughout the whole of Spain. I woke at 2.30am this morning to hear a band parading through the city of Cartagena where we live. The Spanish certainly know how to arrange a party or fiesta as it is commonly known in Spain. The Easter is by far the biggest celebration for the Spanish and the parades have to be seen to be believed, it certainly beats the British Easter of painting a boiled egg and rolling it down a hill.
We have for you in this months Easter newsletter the latest property news and property offers and as always if you have any queries or require more information about the spanish property market do not hesitate to contact us.
Busy, Busy and Busy At A Place In The Sun.
We had a great time at the A Place In The Sun Show which was held in Manchester on the 11th-13th March. With a record attendance of 7381 there was a buzz about the show as we offered guidance and tips to prospective buyers of spansh property. It was a successful show and we are already arranging viewing trips for the many who visited our stand. It was also nice to get feedback from prospective buyers who commented that we were very informative and not pushy like a few of the other Estate Agents that they visited.
It has not been officially released but we will be attending the A Place In The Sun Show which will take place for the first time in Scotland in October 2016. We will confirm dates as soon as we have more information.
Will Ex Pats Become Illegal Immigrants If UK Leaves The EU ?
This is one of the many questions that have to be answered if the UK decides to leave the European Union. With over 800,000 ex pats living full time in Spain I certainly do not expect Spain to export all the ex pats back to the UK . The British help the Spanish economy by purchasing and paying taxes for property purchases.
The Spanish property market is being fueled by British buyers and other EU countries such as Holland and Belgium. There will be many questions that need to be answered before the referendum which will take place in June. The majority of ex pats living the dream in Spain will continue to enjoy the better lifestyle and climate compared to the UK whether Britain will exit the EU or not.
Tips To Narrow Down Your Property Search.
1- It may seem too obvious but speak to the people in the know, contact a local Estate Agent who will have all this free knowledge that they love to pass on. They can recommend areas that would meet your criteria.
2 - Arrange a visit to areas that you feel will be of interest, you will then get a better feel for what each area has to offer as you do not get this looking at nice photos on the internet.
3 - Visit A Place In The Sun shows , great place to pick up so much information under one roof.
4 - With social media and various forums there is always someone happy to provide you with the answers to the questions that you may have.
If you really want to make it easy to narrow down your property search then contact us at www.chersun.com we listen to what you want and will recommend areas and properties that meet your criteria and budget.

On My Bike For The Marie Curie Care Charity
I am taking part in the 81 mile Etape Caledonia Cycle Race 2016 on the 8th May to help raise funds for Marie Curie Care Charity .The Charity with your help and generosity will be able to provide more care and support to the terminally ill and their families.
Your donation will go a long way to ensure that the terminally ill can spend the last days of their life at home surrounded by the love of the their family and friends. I have been overwhelmed with the kind generosity from those who have already donated to this worthy cause, many thanks.
I have been training hard and my aim is to raise as much money for Marie Curie and also to finish in the top 100 riders. With over 5000 keen cyclists taking part I will need to keep my legs spinning as fast as I can .
